Happy New Year šŸŽ‰šŸ„‚

So happy that it’s a new year and I hope you had a wonderful New Year’s celebration, even if it was low-key & at home. I don’t know about you but, read some awesome books in 2020, even if I came no where close to meeting my goal. Usually, I do (or at least come close), but we all know how “special” 2020 and I’m sure 2021 will be an awesome reading year! I’m upping the ante on my reading goal for 2021 from 50 to 75-100 books, I know probably way too ambitious, but I like a challenge!

This month I am only picking 6 books: 3 physical books and 3 Audiobooks. I’ve heard January’s are very busy in my department at work and I want to be prepared with audiobooks to get me through the workday.

My January 2021 Reading List

The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune- I got this physical copy as a Christmas gift and I can’t wait to dig in.

The Midnight Library by Matt Haig- another x-mas gift and I’ve hard so many good things.

The Invisible Life of Adie LaRue by V.E. Schwab- This one, I feel has been one of the highest rated books of 2020. It looks like something I would love, too.

Circe by Madeline Miller (audiobook) this one has obviously been on my TBR for forever, but after finishing Miller’s the Song of Achilles on audiobook, this one will be the next audiobook I listen to.

The Daughter of Sherlock Holmes by Leonard Goldberg-I am currently listening to this one and I’m flying through it. It’s so good! and it’s the first in a series!

Back of Beyond by C.J. Box-another audiobook, it has a good premise, other than that I I haven’t hard anything about this one. Also first in a series!

What’s on your reading list this month?

I love to hear what everyone else is reading. Do you have different reading goals for this year than you did in 2020?

Happy Reading! ~Renee

A Novel Tea MugTea Time-I’m loving Constant Comment right now it has such a warming, spicy scent to it. Stay warm
